The 2012 Environmental Stewardship Awards Luncheon will be a celebration of environmentally focused efforts ranging from grassroots groups to exceptional corporate social responsibility practices that are making our state more sustainable.

The event will recognize and honor environmental champions from the public and private sectors focused in the following areas: Educational Excellence; Individual and Corporate Action; Public Private Partnerships; Philanthropy and Volunteerism.

Single KAZB Program Sponsorships

Green Spaces

Green Spaces restore our local economies. They create stronger, more cohesive communities with real dollars-and-cents benefits. Recipients of the following programs are selected through an application process based on need and/or affiliation.

Tree Planting ($1,500)

Your support of this greening effort, will allow KAZB to purchase a minimum of five native trees and contract with a local landscapeprofessional to install them. Recognition provided in the form of signage. Sponsor recognition provided through signage, KAZB website, media relation efforts and two seats at the Annual Luncheon.

Garden Plantings ($1,000)

Your support of this effort will allow KAZB to purchase seeds and planting supplies to install a garden within an urban or rural community. Sponsor recognition provided through signage, KAZB website, media relation efforts and two seats at the Annual Luncheon.

Litter Prevention Public Service Announcements (In-Kind or $5,000)

KAZB is seeking a media partner to offer in-kind television, radio or online space to support some of our key efforts such as the Litter Hotline at (1-877-3LITTER) and other general clean up efforts. Pending the commitment of a PSA media partner, our plan is to generate the best television, radio, online or print PSA through a statewide contest.

Website Development ($5,000)

KAZB is in need of restructuring its website to allow for efficiency and proper promotion of our efforts within the state. Your support will allow us to keep better track of volunteers, community events and bestpractices to Keep Arizona Beautiful. Your company will be prominently featured on the site as a sponsor, in addition to a press release and newsletter feature and five seats to the Annual Luncheon.

Great American Cleanup Arizona ($1,500)

Your support will bring the Keep America Beautiful Great American Clean up project to Arizona. Activities take place annually from March 1 through May 31. Activities can include beautifying parks and recreation areas, cleaning waterways, handling recycling collections, picking up litter, removing graffiti, planting trees and conducting educational programs and litter-free events -- anything that keeps our community beautiful!

Cigarette Litter Prevention ($500)

Cigarette butts remain the most littered item in the U.S. and across the globe. Reducing this form of litter is the best way to reduce non-point source water pollution. Your support helps us to distribute pocket ashtrays and conduct counts in order to work with cities in the future to provide properreceptacles. Sponsor recognition includes KAZB website exposure, press release feature and recognition a quarterly newsletter.

Cleanup and Litter Prevention License Plate Support ($500) to build KAZB Affiliate Network

This will enhance our support of affiliates throughout the state for clean up. KAZB has the opportunity to allocate funds and give grants back to the collection of nonprofits we are building in our network, partners, affiliates, etc. Sponsor recognition provided through community clean up day signage, KAZB website, feature press release and recognition in six editions of the monthly newsletter.
